i hit the mid life crisis of my uni life.
my modules are giving me bad hits...no idea whether it's the fear of the words level 3000 or dey're seriously more demanding.
or is tt i have never been exactly hardworking?

wow i dunno.

my tutor asks us 2 ask goOd sociological qns becos according to him, alot of hons & masters students gave lousy, plain qns for their research papers that are not worth probing nor are they intriguing. ack. we're all bland, aren't we?
Academic stuff has made us all bland that all we think about is how to make our qns sound clever/ 'chim' or so complicated tt only academics can understand but the avg person dun find an interest in.

i'm oso quite sick of pple asking me what am i going to be next time.
oh wells yes i noe that answer is not clear cut like if u take a biz/ engine deg cos it already says u can work in the biz field/ be an engineer!
but u dun find pple who works in the sociology field, probably cOs i am not aware of what sort of mkt demands for this/ if the mkt is even present in SG.
or whether i want 2 be a researcher and seek to understand social problems/ be smth that can help companies/ associations to better understand their clients/ plans/ policies.
or that wad alot of Singaporeans do: to teach be it in a pri / uni level.

yeas it's not very clear.
and maybe tt's why alot of pple think subjects that dun give you tt clear idea is a useless one. In other words, they meant useless economically but they dunno they really mean that cos it's all that matters to alot of them.
which is rather true since the country's only geared towards certain industries/ professions because it serves our purpose in bringing the country to greater heights.

i'm so afraid of breaking through my glass ceilings.
actually i'm just one of the many moving shadows who listens but dun speak out...who has a thought but is afraid to express the ideas...who studies only when it's time to.
